Sacramento yesterday.
Newport Beach today and tomorrow.
At least my second Sacramento trip [for Friday] was canceled.
I’m sleepy.

I made a bad choice in shoes today. 4 1/2 inch patent leather platforms may be hot, but they sure aren’t hot on the ole’ tootsies! I need a pedicure. My wonky toe is halfway grown back! Woo-hoo!
Chris and I should be lucky we have good looks, because we’re not very smart. Oh, who am I kidding? We’re geniuses…We just can’t do math. Who uses math, anyway? I think I either failed or nearly failed every math class I ever took. Except statistics. I got an A in statistics. (Genius, told ya.)
Rebecca Romijn (Stamos? O’Connell?) is really believable as a dude-turned-lady! Wait. I’m the only one watching “Ugly Betty,” huh? Forget I said that about R.R. (S? O?)
If you haven’t noticed by now, you’re cutting precious minutes from your life by reading this blog. It’s dribble and I apologize. That being said, it is my long, pointless stream of thought, so whadya expect?
“Grey’s Anatomy” is on! Be back at commercial…
IT’S A REPEAT!!! WRITERS’ STRIKE BE DAMMED! I HATE YOU ALL!
Argle.
I have nothing left to say. I think I will go to bed.
Stupid writers.
…And it’s called Wedding Dresses.
Taffeta, organza, tulle, chiffon, chapel train, sweep train, cathedral train, WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!
No, really, what does it mean? I have no clue…
No matter if I was outside or inside, if the heat was on or not, my hands were cold all day. All friggin day. Hrmph.
I just got home from work a little while ago and while I’m friggin exhausted, I just can’t bring myself to go to bed. The season finale of “The Bachelor” is on and this show is such a trainwreck, I have to watch it! P.S. I caught a glimpse of the ring he bought and mine is better. Duh, as if there were any question.
Speaking of rings/wedding/whatnot, Kiva, Michelle, and I went wedding dress shopping this past weekend. What an experience! In case you didn’t already know, I’m not exactly the dress-wearing kinda gal. I’m clumsy and I spill on myself at every meal and I slouch…It’s just not cute. The woman at the dress shop thought I was nuts. No really, I heard her tell my friends that I was nuts. But whatevs, she also said I was a lot of fun, so there you go! I am really dreading going dress shopping again, though. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: You stick even the most average hoe in a wedding dress and do her hair and makeup, and she’ll look good. And let’s face it, I’m no average chick, so I’m golden! Or something…
IT’S ALMOST THANKSGIVING!!! I’m making cranberry sauce tomorrow night.
Now my feet are cold, too. I gotta go to bed.
Oh, and the wedding date is September 27, 2008 😀
Stop being difficult and let me set a friggin wedding date!!!!!!!
Ahem.
That is all.
Since starting my new job, I’ve worked 7 days and had 7 off. Nice!
The only problem with this is the inevitable boredom that sets in after more than two days of doing nothing.
So I sit. I watch TV shows on DVD…By the way, why isn’t Season 3 of “Weeds” out on DVD yet?! Moreover, why are those shows only half and hour long?! Don’t they know I have endless hours to fill?! Plus, that show is great and sometimes 30 minutes is just not enough.
But I digress 😀
I also decided to go on a Woody Allen kick, so I put “Mighty Aphrodite” (my whole life, I had no idea that was a Woody Allen movie. For some reason I always thought Paul Sorvino directed it? Weird.), “Deconstructing Harry,” and “Manhattan” in my queue. It took me saying, “I swear I’ve seen this before!” throughout the entirety of the movie to realize, by the end, that I had in fact seen “Deconstructing Harry” before. “Mighty Aphrodite,” however, was completely new. By the way, if you’re a WA fan, I suggest watching both “Mighty Aphrodite” and then “Melinda and Melinda” and notice how he directs Helena Bonham Carter and Radha Mitchell to be basically the same character. Or at least to have the same mannerisms. I am a dork. Anyway, the verdict is still out on “Manhattan”; we tried to start it last night, be sat around talking (about wedding stuff!) instead. I should watch it today…
Updates:
I have officially begun training for my second half marathon. I ran two miles tonight. It was brutal! Only 11.1 more to go!
SHOUT OUT to Vivien for going with me, even though she’s not running the half marathon.
DOUBLE SHOUT OUT to Chris for running three miles! You are impressive. Even more so, because I bet you didn’t even break a sweat!
Wedding shtuff:
Kiva Diva took me to the bridal bazaar on Sunday morning! I got some good ideas for flowers, photographers, caterers, and chair covers. ::Sigh:: Yup, chair covers. This wedding stuff is like a disease!
HAH, some of these chicks were pretty nutty, though…I saw one girl wearing a fake tiara and veil, and she was dragging her groom around everywhere, the poor fella. My groom, on the other hand, was at home, changing the oil on Kiva’s car. No judgment! I’m just sayin…
Off to read “Martha Stewart Weddings” magazine. Yup, it’s a disease, I tell ya…
