I assume we’re talking about my at-home work space, not my work-work space. (This blog is supposed to be a happy place and my work-work space makes me angry, what with its ill-placed door and loud copy machine.) So, this is a picture of my living room, where I “work” when I’m at home…Writing blogs, eating dinner, watching all my DVR’d shows…You know, important stuff.
I’m sitting on this couch as I type, pausing this important work only to fast-forward through the commercials on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
I should have taken a before picture of the room, because there are several new items of note (big TV, zebra rug, gold mirror!) but just imagine the before as being really, really boring. I have a few more touches I need to make (turquoise throw pillows, something colorful and fun for the mantle), but other than that, this room is pretty much perfect. On to the next!

I LOVE your couch! We have been dying to get a sectional for a few years, but don’t want to spend a ton. We’ve seen some in stores and on Craigslist, but not the perfect one 🙁 *waiting impatiently*
They have wonderful and soft turquoise throw pillows at Pier One. If I were not so lazy, I’d get up and take a photo of mine to show you.
It does look good in the hood – WOW. LOVE the rug.

I don’t remember where I’ve seen pictures of your living room before but for some reason I felt like I noticed the new stuff, and i LOVE it! I think some pops of color like you’re talking about would be the perfect addition too 😀
Oh, I love that rug! We have a very similar colour couch and now I’m thinking we should get something like that to go with it!
