L@el Gift was born this morning at 4:43am, weighing 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and measuring 17.5 inches long.

36(and some change)-weekers are the best! (My son was born at 37 1/2 weeks.) Your baby is fully cooked AND you don’t have to go through the last few weeks of pregnancy, which I hear are The Worst, in terms of discomfort. Now you just get to enjoy your new little babeh.

As her completely unbiased Gmoms/Glamma – I still haven’t figured out what I want to be called – she is a beautiful little baby. Her father and I left today after hanging out for a few days and I MISS HER SO MUCH!
As an aside… I am very proud of Sarah and Chris. They are already terrific parents. Supportive, loving, in love with their baby of course… Team Wal$h, you rock!
