Watch anytime movies

To change gears from the doom and gloom I’ve been bringing lately, I thought I’d talk about movies! Fun movies! Holly recently posted a list of the movies she (and Garrett) could watch whenever they’re on TV, even if they’ve seen them 100 times, own them on DVD (or VHS, no judgment), or have them saved on the DVR (ahem…who’d do that?)

Here’s my list (which was actually really hard to keep to only 10 items. I need sub-categories here or something.)

1. Clueless
2. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
3. French Kiss
4. You’ve Got Mail
5. Almost Famous
6. Tommy Boy
7. Back To The Future
8. The Godfather
9. Pulp Fiction
10. Empire Records

What are your watch anytime movies?

So just about everyone who commented on my post included You’ve Got Mail. Can you believe I’ve NEVER SEEN IT? That’s embarrassing. I have actually only experienced a limited amount of the Meg Ryan oeuvre. I think this makes me un-American or something.

  2. Amy says:

    5. Spies Like Us
    6. Blues Brothers
    7. Anchorman
    8. Shawshank Redemption

I love this topic! Mine are:

    – You’ve Got Mail

    – Mean Girls (pre-trashy Lindsay Lohan, waaaaah!)
    – Center Stage
    – Legally Blonde
    – Two Weeks’ Notice
    – How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
    – When Harry Met Sally
    – Pitch Perfect (this is a new addition but I’m pretty sure it’s here to stay)

OK in no particular order the films I will always always watch no matter what are:

    1) The Rock
    2) Steel Magnolias
    3) Die Hard
    4) Love Actually
    5) Anchorman
    6) Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
    7) Dirty Dancing
